About the Band
The Bear River Band is a five-member acoustic group that plays a variety of folk styles including Celtic and early American folk music. Featured instruments include the hammered dulcimer, Irish bouzouki, flute, fiddle, whistles/recorders, mandolin, guitar, string bass, bodhran, and hand percussion instruments. The band presents educational concerts and workshops, and offers entertainment for fundraising events, nonprofit organizations, private parties, and public concerts.
